Update: How to visualize a realistic car wrap (Nov, 2010)
Earlier last month I was asked whether I had any ideas for a car wrap design for a 2009 Rolls Royce Phantom. The wrap was for one of the participants of this year's Gumball 3000, who wanted to stand out a bit.
That sounded like a fun project, so I created these:
Unfortunately, my designs weren't selected, instead they chose this really cool design, which makes me a bit jealous. But hey, that's life. It was still a fun project :)

BTW: For those who do not know what Gumball 3000 is: It's a little event, where a bunch of really rich dudes put together each year. They take some of the most hideously expensive cars for a little drive over 3000 miles in 7 days. Usually involving many speeding tickets, parties, and everything else you can possibly imagine.
The rally began in London earlier today, before taking them to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Montreal, and Toronto before finally rounding off in New York by the end of the week - basically, 3000 miles across some of the finest scenery in Europe, Scandinavia, Canada, and the US.
If you wonder how they are going to drive from Stockholm to Toronto? They are cheating. They are loading all the cars into Antonov AN-124 cargo planes - which alone probably costs more than what most people earn in a month.
Here is a video from the start in London:
