A Simple Shoe?.

Written by Thomas Baekdal | Tuesday, December 04, 2007

John Maeda, the author of the excellent book "The Laws of Simplicity", has designed a shoe (or more precisely the color and print).

There are several interesting things about it. The graphic is computer generated, and by that I do not mean something he made in Photoshop - it is instead the output of a computer algorithm. And, the in-sole is printed with the actual code used, handwritten by John Maeda.

The shoe went on sale on Nov 14, 2007 and is already sold out, but according to RBK Custom "the next limited edition is coming soon".
