MegaPhone for the iPhone.

Written by Thomas Baekdal | Thursday, September 08, 2011

Back in the good old days we had gramophones. They were beautiful machines, based on a tiny sound amplified through a large expanding tube. Since then we have developed electricity, micro-chips, plastic, computers and iPhones ...but the sound is still tiny.

Many companies have tried to solve the problem in the traditional way. And it kind of works. You take an iPhone and add a big tube to it, and you get louder and better sound. Most companies have been producing cheap plastic ones. Yes, it makes the sound louder but it looks awful.

But then there is this one from en&is. Made out of wood and ceramic. Same principle, but it is absolutely beautiful.
