Bentley EXP 9 F.

If you are a Bentley customer, you are probably not too concerned about the economic situation, and that definitely shows in new Bentley concept car. The Bentley EXP 9 F is a gas guzzling SUV, with a 6.0 litre, twin turbocharged W12 engine.

So Bentley have been looking at the trend of the world and apparently came to the conclusion that it didn't apply to them.

"We are very excited by the potential of a high performance, ultra-luxury Bentley SUV. We know that many Bentley customers already own SUVs, admiring their style, luxury, performance and versatility. With EXP 9 F, Bentley is making a clear statement of intent that we have both the expertise and desire to meet and exceed their expectations." Wolfgang Drheimer, Chairman and Chief Executive, Bentley Motors.

Being Bentley, the car is very luxurious and very impressive in many ways. The new design direction is what they call 'bold, clean and muscular'. It sits on multi-spoked 23-inch alloy wheels, and has an impressive two-way split tailgate.

The rear lights are "inspired by forms and details of fighter jet engines" - although to me, it looks like some kind of computer graphic.

The interior, of course, is crazy Bentley luxury.
